Couldn’t find one anywhere. I came across this which seemed like it was the same size and was blown away when I got it and it was a Havahart AND fit my old feeder perfectly. Very happy with this purchase. One person found this helpful. These replaced some aging and cracked inserts on an otherwise good feeder. Fit perfectly, though they came with a center tube which my original feeders did not have.

The center tube is not real practical so while I am using it I will probably discard it next time I clean the feeders. After the inserts to my favorite feeder finally got so old and chipped that I could no longer use it, I thought it was destined for the trash heap. Fortunately, I thought to check and see if Amazon might have a solution. Problem solved! New inserts assembled and feeder once again hanging right in front of my kitchen window.

Expensive parts for a very expensive bird feeder. I’m happy I can see the bird food again! Fit is good, color is clear, easy to install. Although using the tube allows for different seed compartments, but during the freezing and rainy periods, small seeds tend to pack. Using only sunflower seed provides good distribution and eager happy birds. We were able to salvage an older bird feeder that belonged to my mother-in-law with these inserts.

All we used were the clear plastic sections. The graphic that is show does not do this product justice. I’m glad I took a chance and purchased these inserts. Fit in my feeder that was an older model, not quite the same as the original insert but saved me from having to throw away the feeder. The seed doesn’t always fill the inserts properly but it fills them enough to use.

I’ve had 2 of these feeders for several years. They are out summer and winter and eventually the inserts dry out and crack. Since I do like the style of this feeder, being able to replace the inserts saves my having to replace the entire feeder. The inserts fit perfectly. This insert was a replacement for an older Hyde Feeder that badly required a new insert.
